Another Broken Egg Cafe® Bolsters Support for Franchisees
The cafe’s investment in the tools, people and systems needed to support their franchisee success has not gone unnoticed.
Orlando, FL (August 14, 2019) – Another Broken Egg Cafe has taken off! Over the past 18 months Another Broken Egg Cafe has enjoyed growth with new deals, new franchisees and most importantly, new cafe locations. The brand accredits their success to a support-focused business model that puts franchisees first by finding and implementing the best brand resources to ensure their success. These efforts have not gone unnoticed; the brand has attracted and recently signed multi-unit development deals with new and existing franchisees that ensure the construction of 20+ cafes in the next 12 to 24 months.
Another Broken Egg Cafe is built on the ideals of southern hospitality and high-quality offerings, which can only be achieved with a strong, supportive business model that ensures each franchisee has the tools they need. The brand continuously invests in top-of-the-line software, new hires and an improved overall system in order to reach their goal of 300 cafes by 2025.
The brand recently contracted with Boefly, a company which helps prospective, small business owners secure fast, competitive financing by connecting borrowers with lenders. Boefly is the leader in franchise lending solutions and has more than 5,000 participating banks and specialty finance companies supporting over 600 franchise brands. To additionally support their prospective franchisees, the brand has partnered with SiteZeus®, considered by many to be the new evolution in site selection. The software is driven by engineered big data systems and is coupled with unparalleled real estate service technology. For more information on this one-of-a-kind service, visit www.sitezeus.com.
Another Broken Egg of America Franchising further bolsters the success of their franchisees through a one-stop, multi-step building plan. This plan ensures approved standards are maintained in the design of the cafe and reduces inaccuracies in architectural plans and the number of possible change orders during the build out which helps ensure a more predictable construction schedule. The process begins with a proposed layout specific to each cafe’s selected site that, once approved by the franchisee and Another Broken Egg, is then converted into a complete design document set. This approach eases the overall construction process by providing a solid plan right from the start.
This multi-step building plan process has continued to strengthen and evolve under the leadership of the brand’s new Director of Design and Construction, Ron Stuart. Ron uses his many years of experience designing and building hundreds of locations for Smoothie King and Jimmy John’s as he now oversees the design planning and construction process at Another Broken Egg Cafe. Ron’s ultimate goal is to reduce the time from franchise agreement to opening while optimizing costs, seating and sales for each new Another Broken Egg Cafe location.
These support tools, systems and people have attracted new franchisees to the brand as well as encouraged existing franchisees to expand. New multi-unit development deals have been signed with franchisees coming from a variety of backgrounds and including Enterprise Car Rental, Great Clips, Five Guys and Buffalo Wild Wings. Several of these franchisees were looking to expand their portfolios and the Another Broken Egg Cafe model was a perfect complement to their existing brands.
These new franchisees will be opening cafes in Gilbert, AZ; Oviedo, FL; Overland Park, KS; Pittsburgh, PA and College Station, TX. The new cafes are slated to open in 2020 and 11 more locations are planned over the following two years. Existing multi-unit franchise owners of Another Broken Egg Cafe will also be expanding in 2020 with new locations in Flowood, MS and West Chester, OH. Additionally, a new corporate-owned cafe will be opening later this year in Destin, FL.
